After a police officer shot Jacob Blake, the City of Kenosha suffered tremendous damage and several days of riots. The decision regarding the officer is expected to be announced very soon.
 
Many residents in Kenosha and its surrounding areas are worried that the city will see more violence after the decision is announced.
 
Please sign this pledge to invoke daily the Holy Name of Jesus to protect the City of Kenosha and urge Mayor John Antaramian and the Common Council to pray this prayer publicly.

The Name of Jesus is a very powerful name. Historically, many Christians have invoked the Holy Name of Jesus to protect their cities from spiritual and natural forces.
 
The City of Siena, Italy called upon the Holy Name of Jesus to protect their city in the early 1400s and the Holy Name of Jesus saved Lisbon, Portugal from a deadly outbreak of the plague in 1432.
 
Pledge to pray this prayer, invoking the Holy Name of Jesus, over the city of Kenosha daily and encourage the Mayor and the Common Council to publicly pray this prayer asking for Jesus’ protection over Kenosha too.

O Jesus, Savior and Redeemer of all peoples and nations, Whose Holy Name makes demons flee and sinners tremble, and brings grace to the faithful; at Whose Name every knee must bend in Heaven, on earth and under the earth; Whose Holy Name from days of old has been invoked over cities, towns and villages for protection from both the forces of nature and evil powers; Lord Jesus, we humbly beg Your aid and protection over the City of Kenosha and the surrounding areas. Let the plans of those plotting harm and destruction be uncovered, and let the peace which only You can give reign over the minds and hearts of all in our Fair City.
