The City of Philadelphia has decided that it is unsafe for kids in our city to compete in outdoor sports competitions/games due to COVID-19. While places like indoor casinos are allowed to operate, the youth in our communities are being stopped from playing games on city fields. What the city has ultimately failed to address is the mental health and well being of our kids. It is a proven fact that kids involved in sports and competition are far less likely to commit crimes, experiment with drugs and/or alcohol, among other negative impacting issues. Please consider letting our city leaders know that we all support and acknowledge the NEED for youth sports competitions to resume in the City of Philadelphia.

Thank you for considering the kids in our communities by signing this petition.
