The City of Cambridge is proposing a city Tobacco 21 law , as we know the adult age is 18 and taking away the rights of Adults is wrong.

Adults 18 and older can Lawfully:

Adopt a child
Become an organ donor
Get a tattoo
Vote
Buy a home
GAMBLE legally
Change their Birth name
Get married
Consent to sex/Sterilization
Seek medical attention and be financially obligated
File Taxes
Purchase Tobacco products
Go to Prison
As a legal adult, you are now responsible for your actions. If you violate any law, you will be charged as an adult.
Get drafted/ Serve in armed forces
If you are a male, you are required to register with the Selective Service System within 30 days of turning 18. According to the law, you can be prosecuted if you do not register. If convicted, you can be fined up to $250,000 and/or spend up to five years in jail.

How can this be possible if we cannot trust 18- 20 YR OLD adults with tobacco products?
Taking away the rights of adults who are held responsible for their actions supports no cause.

Freedom and rights should not be negotiable.
