The science is clear, sir. We are in the midst of a public health crisis. COVAID19 and its variants (Delta and most recently, Lambda) continue to put lives in peril. We are urging you to mandate masks as a requirement for all public school students and staff here in Orange County. It is clear that we are headed for yet, another lockdown, for which Orange County students, teachers, and parents will have to endure, yet another year of remote learning, if such a measure is not taken. The time for pleading with the stubborn is long past. Our children and those we entrust them to have a right to a healthy and safe learning space.
