Pedestrian lane is one of the most genius and most helpful inventions ever, this is to help citizen’s to cross on a crowded road, together with traffic lights, of course. Pedestrian lanes are a big help to lessen accidents that often occur on the road. In 2015, 5,376 people were killed in pedestrian/motor vehicle crashes, nearly 15 people everyday of the year. Pedestrian lanes are used all around the world, in big cities like New York City, in USA. And in the Philippines, there’s Manila, Makati and many more. But those least popular cities in the Philippines, like our city, Cabanatuan City, there are few, but not being used properly. Drivers do not follow road laws, also most traffic lights isn’t working, making citizens to be afraid to cross roads in Cabanatuan City, and there’s a need of traffic enforcers to control unruly drivers that does not follow the law.
