This petition is being circulated to address the Winter parking ordinance in Portland, MI. Current City ordinance prohibits any on street parking from November 1st until April 1st of every calendar year.

I propose an amendment to this ordinance allowing alternating parking on either side of the street. On odd dates vehicles park on the side with odd house numbers, and on even dates you park on the side with even house numbers. It will be in effect for the same range of dates and times as the current ordinance.
