Times are extremely hard for lower class citizens that are doing the best they can! Some get the virus and can’t work to feed their family let alone pay their rent! They need HELP!!!

To put the wealth of the upper class above the basic necessities of the lower class would be exactly what the city of Columbus would be doing by not freezing rent during this crisis.

I don’t want to see more people dying because our government doesn’t care about the basic needs of the people. Forget capitalism, we need to save lives immediately

I have an eviction hearing pending for May 27 that could result in my family becoming homeless!
We can not locate another rental during this pandemic and don’t know what we are going to do!

Our most vulnerable are always the most affected by calamities in our nation. Many of our renters have lost their jobs and are in pain. We can not rely on the goodwill of landlords. I support the stop of rent payments for those who have lost their jobs during our nation’s most devastating disaster. Now is the time to show compassion for our residents who are in need. Thank you.

I’m signing as a Broker/Owner/Property manager. Tenants who have been impacted by this current climate should be given time to work out their finances. Folks who have the ability to pay should pay to avoid compounding the problem when the crisis is over.

I was homeless. In our society, no one should ever have to live without a roof over their heads. We need public housing for those who have no where to quarantine, and we need to prevent anyone else from ending up in that situation.
