Due to Covid -19. Many homeless are now being placed in Parks as they are closed during the stay at home order.  Why can’t we keep our nice parks closed and safe?  This may seem like a good idea to place homeless?  However living right down the street  from one of the Rec and Parks building ; it’s a horrific scene for myself and my neighbors. I  have to see on a daily never ending basis. Not to mention what it could do to the property value of our nice homes  ..what about us ? The tax paying nice citizens?  Do we not have rights just like homeless?  Are we also being out more at risk to contract COVID-19?  I have photos taken by neighbors. Of thrown trash and even human waste on out on streets and park.  Myself?  I don’t want to enjoy a walk in my area anymore.  It’s horrific!  And during stay at home that was such a wonderful activity for me .  Now I literally feel locked in my home. Without a place to walk by me. I had shoes and a packet stolen.    It’s hard for me to imagine what good this is doing anyone?.  The neighbors here ; and in all the other park location have a constant worry about what may happen. My neighbor told police of deficication?  The police stated we aren’t involved. I’ve seen police there yes. But what can they do? Why can’t they do more? These homeless still are ruining our beautiful neighborhood. 24/7 hours a day. And mostly;  giving us a very very scary unsafe feeling .

also..please!!!! the police need to have authority to control what happens with the homeless. City council has stripped them of any authority over the homeless. This order needs to reversed.  

i feel there has to be another answer to helping them. Can’t they live in an non neighborhood location facility(s)? Or even in tents but NOT near nice neighborhoods ruining tax paying citizens lives? Pitch tents in areas not around no law abiding tax paying citizens !  Not around neighborhoods with children , seniors and everyone actually. We already must deal with Covid -19 precautions. Why this too?
