The city of Minneapolis considering placing another source of pollution anywhere near the East Phillips neighborhood is unconscionable. Community first, always, and especially in communities that are underserved, abused, neglected, and harmed by the systems that were designed to marginalize them. Do better Minneapolis.

I suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. This means my body as a dwarfed ability to process toxic chemicals. I'm at risk. Folks like me and those who have asthma, COPD, etc will suffer from increased pollution in the area and BIPOC community members are most at risk for these conditions.

You cannot profit at the detriment of the people!

Let's lead the way and be a beacon of environmental justice for the nation to admire!

Racism is real and polluting an important and diverse part of our city is not ok with me.

This project represents another harmful project impacting the Phillips neighborhood. Please sell the building back to the Neighborhood and don’t create more harm in a neighborhood that has a history of environmental and systemic racism.

I support the East Phillips Community. No more environmental racism! Its outrageous that the city is even considering this. It is so clearly an act of environmental racism. This neighborhood is already disproportionately burdened by pollution and this will increase that burden. We, as a city, should be lessening that burden! Sell this land to the East Phillips Indoor Urban Farm!

Minneapolis must do better, the city leaders try to paint themselves as people who champion justice and equity but this is an example of what really happens in this city. We cannot allow this to continue to happen, the systemic oppression must stop. Do better Minneapolis, be better.
