Stop negotiations to contract with Charter Schools USA

I urge you to keep the City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools under the ownership and management of The City of Pembroke Pines. It is by no accident that The City of Pembroke Pines has gained nationwide recognition. A large part of that recognition is a result of the teachers at the City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools. The teachers are the differentiating factor in what makes the school a nationwide model, without them our school isn’t anything. I ask that you not hand over the management responsibilities to Charter Schools USA or any other 3rd party. The teachers of the City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools have expressed their willingness to accept a reduction in pay to keep the school operating – business as usual – keep the teachers, keep the students, keep the city, keep the reputation.

By NOT entering into a third party contract you will be acting in the best interest of The City of Pembroke Pines, the students, the teachers, the families, and the reputation of The City of Pembroke Pines.
