Schools need to be closed at least temporarily. There is no way that these “safety measures” are going to be put into place this quickly. The virus is just going to keep passing, which keeps kids out of school because they’re home sick and the same for staff. If we keep schools closed during this time and have safety measures really put into place there’s a much greater chance that kids will be able to stay in school without constant interruption of learning. The staff and the students need to remain safe. They are not learning if they’re home sick all the time or having to quarantine every other week.
