With the nearest dog park approximately 15 minutes away in Leander, residents of Lago Vista find themselves having to make that drive or take their pets to the local parks (where owners are currently being met with hostility for unleashed pets.) What we propose is simple: to designate an area(s) within our town/parks to fence off for usage for dog owners to have their dogs off leash.
