I have a plot in the organic community garden across the street. My young dog plays at the garden and downstream in the river nearby. Also I just love and care about Northampton. Northampton is a role model of socially responsible, ecologically friendly behavior for the Northeast. In my opinion, using non-organic methods at Florence Fields is not in keeping with Northampton's long tradition of being at the forefront of holistic social change.

Because organic vegetables are the only way. Toxins have NO place in food, our bodies, and our health.

Sports are a foolish pursuit. Those who do sports should be working to have their own farms instead. This stupid field's designers make it even worse because they use pesticides to keep their lawn-fields unnecessarly spotless while ruining the organic status of an honest farmer adjacent to the property. Why is the comment so awkward?

I am concerned about the extensive use of this herbicide and the lack of data re long term effects on health and the environment.

this is near an organic farm, the farm shouldn't have to deal with this.
