All children should have a nice outdoors place to play.

Tuhey Park has been a jewel in Muncie, and it would be a shame to lose it. Cities NEED parks. Build the housing project on some other piece of property that is NOT a park and swimming pool!!!!!!

It’s important to have open green spaces in Muncie for families to enjoy. Animals also thrive in parks.

This a place where my family loves to visit, the playground and pool both! Why replace something that doesn't need replaced, the YMCA can find a empty lot to develop in.

The Anthony-Northside Neighborhood (spanning McGalliard to Bethel, and Tillotson to Wheeling), immediately north of Riverside/Normal City, has *not a single public park*. We couldn't even get a tiny pocket park. So we use Tuhey as well.

Please listen to the _neighborhoods_. We fight HARD to get our parks. Neighborhoods shouldn't have to fight like this to keep them. Any developments constructed on public green space should be fully open to the public.

I grew up going to the YMCA. I worked for my mother, then Park Superintendent, in my hometown's parks. I love the YMCA. I love Muncie's parks. I want the YMCA to succeed. I want Muncie's parks to succeed. But, ultimately, I do not want to see one succeed at the expense of the other.

They Park is a community asset. There are 3 current YMCA facilities that could be used/improved. What will happen to those structures if a new Y is built at Tuhey? Simply makes no sense.
