Fireworks have no place inside Bozeman’s city limit. These explosives are disruptive to the after-hours tranquility of our neighborhoods, to sleep cycles of humans and pets alike, and they are dangerous in terms of recklessly creating fire hazards. It’s time Mayor Andrus and the city commission take reasonable steps to move this activity to the wide-open spaces where the population is not dense.
