This is the hell hole this dog had been living in. No food; no water. Rotting feces next to children's toys. The dog could not walk more than a few steps and left a bloody trail."
This dog took a long while to get in this condition. It is not yet known if he will survive. The Ocean Shores Police Dept.'s answer to the call was to give the owners a week to "correct the situation", however a North Beach PAWS volunteer was able to convince the owner to surrender the dog to them.
When state law is VERY clear on animal cruelty laws, why would OSPD encourage the owners to file criminal charges against the reporting party on this case? And why would they give those people a week to change the horrid living conditions when it's obvious the dog wouldn't have been alive in a week???
