The mayor and city council of Kahlotus has decided to cancel Kahlotus Days for fear of liability and fines to the city. The Kahlotus Days Committee has worked hard to ensure the safety of everyone and the town. They have been in contact with Sherriff Raymond of Franklin County who fully supports our community function. They have also received guidelines from the Department of Health to ensure the safety of everyone. In addition, every year the Committee purchases insurance for the event, further protecting the liability of the city of Kahlotus and the Kahlotus Days Committee.
