There’s a growing number of children and teens that play basketball,a lot of them play to release stress and escape the harsh reality’s of the neighborhoods they live in . The problem is there aren’t nearly enough places for large groups to play. In Sussex county you will be hard pressed to find a decent court within walking distance so a lot of people can’t access the very few options there are. I’m writing this petition to ask towns like Georgetown,Millsboro,seaford,and laurel to fix The existing courts, and stay on top of their up keep. in towns where there are no courts I am asking that they  start to look into building courts so that the youth can be more active and healthy and as an effort to keep them out the streets as I truly believe that basketball brings the town together. If these towns and the state start taking the initiative then I will personally make an effort to get donations like c nets,and,basketballs,Trash cans, etc and most importantly funds for the construction of the courts them selves.
