I feel NYC and NY State should bear the financial brunt since they have totally closed-down the City & State. I moved to NYC last summet to attend grad school. I lost my school job. How can I find a summer job? Some of us are single with no family or close friends in NYC. You can work out a deal with the banks so landlords are not penalized. Not all credit card companies are waiving penalties or reporting to credit bureaus. NYC needs to REOPEN NOW. I want to return to live classes and not remote, or else I will take a leave of absence.

Its just necessary. No income coming in. How does anyone expect anything at this point. Its not like food is free.

If my lanlord doesnt have to pay mortgage why do we have to pay rent we need a break no job no pay

Yes bartender can’t work haven’t in 6weeks and honestly have no money. Thanks to friends that I meet from bartending they have helped. But rent is 2k and I don’t expect them to pay that there struggling as well.

Because if we can’t make money, how are we supposed to pay rent? Housing is essential. Renting is essential for housing for people who can’t afford to own. Owning real estate is a luxury AND a risk. Keep that in mind.
