Mayor DeBlasio, Connect the Astoria and Upper East Side Ferry Stops in New York City

Recent news

Your Voice Was Heard!

Your voice was heard!  Because of you and over 5,000 other New Yorkers who signed our petition to urge Mayor de Blasio to connect the Upper East Side and Astoria via NYC Ferry, the expanded service launched this Saturday, August 22nd.  What was an hour-plus commute is now four minutes on the Astoria Line connecting the two boroughs.

Thanks to your efforts, our community’s mobility is vastly improved and residents on both sides of the river will have better access to employment opportunities, health care and cultural offerings.

As we move further into New York's COVID-19 response and eventual recovery, we can be reassured that the ferry offers a safe and socially distant way to move around our city.   The new schedule may be viewed here: https://www.ferry.nyc/routes-and-schedules/route/astoria/

Thank you for your voice.  See you on the ferry!

Sincerely,

The Halletts Point Alliance Team
