Ebengo Alfani started this petition to Mayor Bill de Blasio (Mayor of New York City) and

It is now time to help children from refugee camps to access computer literacy. With computer skills, every child will be able to engage in digital activities with possibility of facing his or her daily expenditures.

In Kakuma and Kalobeyei settlement camps/Kenya, most of children don't have access to computer literacy. This leads them to believe that a child in a refugee camp doesn't have the same right like a child in a city or abroad.

Kindly help us to empower them and build a strong believe among them. Let us show them that being a refugee child doesn't private them to benefit the same rights.

Your support in this petition will help our community based organization (African Initiative for Human Development, AIHD2) to increase the number of children ( from 20 children to 50 children) to access the skills. Based in the rural area with a strong limitation in term of Kits/equipment, our community based organization is not able to expand it services to our children.

Your support will help us to add computers, solar panel, classrooms and probably to increase the chance of Job placement among youths. Visit us at https://www.facebook.com/AIHD2 and see our work.
