There are about 61,000 homeless people in New York City including  over 14,000 homeless families and about 21, 000 homeless children. Although the city has provided homeless shelters for people in need of them, they have closed them in the outcome of Covid 19. Another bitter outcome of the pandemic is that millions of people have been laid off in America and many don't have enough money to support them and their family, even with the goverment support. This is unjust and unfair. We hope that we can get enough money and people to make a difference and get the help that they need.
