Too close to schools. Solve the problems for the Condo owners near The Gateway of Hope before another communities property values plummet.

Build it somewhere else. We already have some homeless loitering in this neighbourhood, I can just imagine the multiples of homeless it will attract camping outside of that facility. Seriously to close to our homes, shopping, parks, and schools. Not the ideal location for it at all. And that’s my opinion as a home owner in this community. Drugs and alcohol (although not all homeless r addicted , but it’s my belief majority are), can create more problems of leaving drug paraphernalia behind, vandalism, disorderly conduct, loitering and stealing comes hand in hand to addictions.

It may attract more homeless people loitering to the outside of the building, and thus causing havoc to the 200th busy street, More vandalism, theft and drug or alcohol use in public areas. Too close in proximity to neighbourhood houses, schools, parks and businesses.
It’s in the WRONG LOCATION for this type of housing.

The lower barrier method chosen for this site is not in line with keeping all residents of the housing unit safe (we’ve been told seniors and adults with disabilities will be considered for residency along with people with substance abuse issues). Additionally, the provisions for the safety of the community around the site seem to be greatly lacking. At the two meetings I’ve attended, the inability of the teams involved in this project to provide clear answers in this regard are concerning.

We cannot allow this to happen.

It will bring crime, drugs and needles to our streets.

Our community won't be safe anymore

Please stop building them in the heart of local businesses and schools in Langley. We need to protect our children from crime and vandalism. We selected this city because of safety and dont like to devastate it.

I feel everyone should have a say in this. It will definitely have a impact on the businesses in the area that support the community as well as the families in the area with children and without. Nothing like this should ever be allowed without the "Full" support of the whole community!
