The dress code at our school is so stupid. The girls can't show shoulders nor above their knees nor their stomachs and it's becoming hard for us to pick out close or to even be confident about our body's. As one of the students at Maury I've been wearing sweatpants and blue jeans because I'm scared to get dress codes at this school. I honestly don't think it's fair that we have to deal with the fact that the boys don't get dress codes for wearing shorts above their knees and can show their shoulders. We're also not aloud to wear blue jeans with holes above the knee. Here's the thing the girl teachers at our school can wear dresses and shorts above their knees which a lot of us don't see as fair. I'd honestly LOVE for the girls at Maury to feel better about how their body's look.Now I'm not the only one tired of this at this school so can everyone sign this petition and help us change this dress code?
