I want to change the dress code at GMS. I want ripped jeans to be allowed to a certain extent (no rips in the butt or any other private places) there should be no revealing rips and no more than 2 inch rips. I don’t get why ripped jeans are such a problem as long as they aren’t revealing, if it’s because they can get caught on things so can shirts... are you gonna bam shirts now? Ripped jeans aren’t a big problem and plus if we’re allowed to wear shorts then why can’t we wear jeans? It’s not like they’re showing anything provocative anyways. Ripped jeans shouldn’t be covered up with pieces of bright tape either, it’s not embarrassing and often kids laugh about it instead or find ways to make it looks better anyways. Your goal on “teaching a lesson” just becomes a joke and isn’t taken seriously and it’s annoying that we aren’t allowed to wear ripped jeans even though nothing is wrong with them. If it’s because “they look worn out” or “dirty”, people  wear shirts with holes in them all the time and dirty clothes all the time so what is the point of not allowing ripped jeans. There is none. To conclude this I say that ripped jeans should be allowed to a certain extent.
