I'm signing this because I wish someone in my hometown of Brockville would do what Matthew Humphreys has done. Absolutely brilliant work Matthew!

I believe the Heritage Theatre is an important landmark in Brampton and can certainly be put back to good use with live entertainment, movies, and seminars. Bring back a Vaudeville act even. Movie Matinees for the kids on weekends. Christmas concerts, school plays, put up profiles of famous performers that once played there, and revitalize the old theatre because it is a rich part of Brampton's history and should be preserved.

So much of Brampton's heritage has been torn down, it would be nice to revitalize this piece of Brampton's history.

This is a piece of Bramptons past, it needs to be part of its future as well. I love the idea of a dedicated comedy club. I think it would be the perfect opportunity for the many comics starting out here in Brampton. I also think it would be a great place to support up and coming playwrights. I could imagine Brampton having their own fringe festival in this space. Acting workshops could also find a home here. The possibilities are endless.

I think it should be used for Indie films (like the revue, or bloor cinema), live music, community theatre, in a venue that is lower cost than the rose

The Heritage Theatre is a notable building in Brampton’s Four Corners. It is short-sighted that routine maintenance for the building has not been followed. I agree the building could serve many functions including a multi-purpose entertainment facility, which could sometimes be used as a movie theatre for award winning movies ( including indie movies) that never make it to Brampton.
