Help remove the rules at MAS that restrict makeup, hair, and jewellry.

This petition is to remove the rules regarding the restriction of certain things students can do with their appearances, such as makeup, hair dye and styles, and jewelry. These rules are far outdated and keep students from expressing themselves in the way they wish. Teachers constantly tell students to express themselves in school while simultaneously removing everything they can use to do that.
Their argument is that the uniform and their rules are to keep everyone looking alike, so people know we are a community and to take pride in it. However wouldn't it look better on the school if students expressed themselves outwardly as well? The clothing is what ties everyone together, their actual bodies should represent them as a person. This idea would show the amount of diversity we have in the school in multiple different factors, students would be able to look how they want to look.
Also, dressing the way you want and looking the way you want can be a huge confidence booster which a lot of people struggle with. It can also make students feel happier and more comfortable with themselves. Many students ignore these rules already and none of the teachers seem to care, as long as you take out jewellery for P.E then nobody says anything. The only thing the teachers really care about is if people have unnatural hair colours, which is unreasonable as the way a student looks doesn't affect their or anyone else's learning, people might look once, make a comment about it and go back to work, but that's always it, nobody really cares about it so much to the point they are ignoring a lesson just to stare at somebody.
All that needs to be done is to have these rules removed.
Rules from the website that we are trying to remove:
"Hair colour should be natural and not represent extremes of fashion."
"Make-up should be unobtrusive and natural-looking."
"Coloured nail varnish or false nails of any type are not permitted."
"Jewellery is restricted to one small pair of earrings with a maximum of one earring in each earlobe, No other piercings are acceptable for school."
This is 2021, let us do what we want with our appearances.
