black male dolls matter - if nothing else, a black male silkstone doll would be good public relations for Mattel - use the Texas cheerleader face & black flocking for hair ...

I'd like to see another Oriental male too. That DOTW Japan Ken was gorgeous, but so far he's the only Oriental Ken I've seen.

It is high time that an African-American silkstone male doll is made! Why has this not been done? I have been collecting for years. Mattel needs to step it up!

If the African American male is more incorporated in to normal everyday doll-play for every boy and girl then maybe we would see a decrease in the callous and heartless killing of black men that is taking place across this great nation.

I'm signing because I haven't seen a AA silkstone ken since 2005, and could not purchase at the time.

It makes no sense to exclude anyone, isn't that what Mattel is all about?

I have been collecting AA Steven dolls when I can find them. In the stores in this area, I only seem to be able to find The Beach Boys which are getting boring.Infact, I stopped purchasing them new, and every now and then I find a vintage Steven in the consignment or thrift store and they seem to be much more interesting. Now if I can find a vintage talking Steven!

I have loved Barbie from day one. As an adult collector I want dolls from different races. A Ken doll of color would be fabulous.
