Because this pair of guys (or gays) don´t know what kind of great country is our Colombia. I know people in Autralia that knows this men and told me that they are addicts, that´s their problem an I am not interested about it. We are great people and we suffer so much many years ago because drugs cartels, we are working so hard to be the best country and free of drugs cartels, we are no addicts and we need to be respected.

I am student who is currently completing his HSC this year. My Biology teacher who is Colombian, is also one of the most intelligent and loving people I will ever have the privilege of knowing. Although I am not Colombian myself, I was offended with comments made by Matt and Joe. These remarks were completely inappropriate and inaccurate, not to mention unprofessional. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, but from my understanding this was a deliberate attempt to degrade and humiliate the entire Colombian population. I do not believe that either Matt or Joe understand that their comments make no logical sense, since not all Colombians live in Colombia, and therefore not all would participate in the drug trade. I resent their child-like behaviour as their arrogance and ignorance prevents them from comprehending the implications of their actions. Australia is advertised as a country that embraces multi-culturalism, yet it saddens me to know that there are individuals promoting racism. In summary: they should both be ashamed of themselves and if they had; a shred of sense within their peanut-sized brains, dignity, and decency within themselves they would apologise.

It's offensive to a great nation. It's perpetuating a stereotype, which is not accurate. They have an audience of thousands and are influential. This is bullying. I'm disgusted to be Australian when I hear comments such as these.
