Why this petition matters

With Platforms in competition to GrubHub like PostMates, DoorDash, and Uber Eats, it makes it easier for drivers to want to use their service instead because of one thing: an absence of region boundaries.
GrubHub limits drivers to one region, which makes it hard to make useful time, because most drivers don’t deliver in one city. Some days city A is busier than city B. So when it comes to travel, the driver takes all platforms with them, except one: GrubHub.
Waving goodbye to money for drivers and customer service for people that could have came in along side of the other platforms. When a driver navigates to other cities, DoorDash customers, for example, will still be getting service because there will always be a driver roaming the cities. However, a quiet (and not so busy city) is going to be either left with few drivers or people leaving that region for good because who wants to be strapped down when it come to being a free, independent contractor?
By getting rid of region boundaries, that is freedom for drivers to not only leave and discover new places, but keeps business going for the customers, because if a city is too slow, there will be more of an absence of drivers who may not only want to change regions but leave the GrubHub platform for good, because the flow is inconsistent with the daily hustle most of have with multiple platforms.
Even those who use GrubHub alone would find the freedom to not feel tied down and do the job they are meant to do: drive freely and deliver freely.
