Adrienn Vlasits started this petition to Matt Hancock and

In England the prescription allowance for people with celiac disease are 8 units per month for children and females older then 19, 12 for children aged 11-18 and males over 19. Further more only bread can be ordered.

In the rest of UK the units are far more and selection includes Flour Mixes, savoury biscuits, pasta, GF oats, GF cereals, xanthan gum (a must have to bake GF products)

Cileac disease means the same challenge for everyone regardless where you live. Especially these days when we are in lockdown and food resources/choices are limited in England these patients should have equal allowance and selection all over the country.

It’s easy to see that when the waiting time from grocery shops to deliver GF oats, pasta is cc 4 weeks that every patient leaving in England are disadvantaged in comparison with rest of UK patients, who can get everything from their local pharmacy in a week.

Please support me to change the rules and support people with cileac disease the same way in the whole UK
