By legalizing recreational marijuana, we can get our state out of pension, and imo, lower the arrests made for nonviolent drug offenses. Plus, it's impossible to die of weed.

According to many studies, you would have to smoke over 1500 pounds within a matter of 15 minutes. It's just that impossible. According to a comment on a WKYT article, states that Colorado has made billions of dollars from marijuana as a cash crop. 

People like myself have been asking, no, desperately begging for marijuana to be completely legal in Kentucky. By making this legal, this will prove several advantages to our economy and life:

The biggest issue, our opioid epidemic has killed many Kentuckians more than other drugs on the record of our state. We have seen the end results of opioid quickly taking a life and another, hospitalizations and deaths of our fellow comrades. If you cannot open your eyes to see how many people are dying, we have a right to consider you a socialist, "Republican" Matt Bevin.

The next one is the reduction of nonviolent drug offenses arrest. This is another biggest problem with our state. We are arrested commonly for possession of drugs, mostly dealing with crack, heroin, and of course, marijuana. Crimes have even gone so far to consider it a felony for possessing a few pounds of marijuana. Why are we arrested for nonviolent drug offenses, when in some cases, our change.org newsletters informed us of people who their relatives faced life in prison for a nonviolent drug offense. Can't handle the fact we are jailing people over a little weed? There's a lot more to it. I'll list one more biggest issue that you "Republican" Matt Bevin will never resolve. 

Pensions are getting nightmarish. You are continuing to disregard Americans, not caring for the unemployment rates or the amount of money people are paid. Legalizing marijuana will help increase our profits. Why is Colorado rich, where as Kentucky's failing? Because recreational marijuana is legal in that state. Not in ours. And we are losing more cash and more cash as days go by, where one simple flick of a switch will fix where Kentucky is broken.

In truth, there is nothing to fear about legalizing marijuana. If you just let it be legal, Kentuckians will be happy, taxpayers won't suffer so much, and Kentucky will rid the pension issue. It's time we finally went our way to say something against this. We are Kentuckians, and we will deliever a solution regardless of what it takes.
