Why this petition matters
Hello, My name is Sofia. I love animals, but my favorite animals have always been cats. I’ve grew up loving them, studying them, talking about them, and displaying my love about them anywhere I could. Cats have always been a special part of my life and started when I was born with a cat in my family. When I was 7, this cat passed away and I was devastated. Shortly after, We adopted a new cat. Unfortunately, this cat was given away a few years later for being too “wild”. This cat scratched and clawed frequently, but she was loved by all and loved our family. Years and years later, my dream came true. My family considered adopting a beautiful bengal kitten. My dream was to have my own cat— preferably a kitten. On June 1, 2019, we brought our new kitten home and named her Nala. This was a family cat, but she started to feel like my very own. Her first days with us were spent with me. she slept in my room, usually wanted to cuddle with me over others, and showed extra attention towards me. I’ve always has animals bond with me very quickly, and Nala was no exception. With my diagnoses of anxiety and depression, Nala has made my life significantly better and has given me a sense of purpose. She is one of the sweetest animals I’ve ever met. she loves to cuddle, gives kisses, and always is happy to see you. since she is a Bengal cat, she is more wild than your average cat. she likes to climb, jump, and leave marks on your body. Her biting and scratching habits aren’t out of control, but there are enough to annoy the rest of my family. My mother is threatening to give away my dream pet and one of my best companions. I hope that you will take some time out of your day to sign my petition to help me keep my baby. ❤️
