Goodmorning,good afternoon to anyone seeing this petition

The prime reason for this petition is to remove Study island. The duration to complete just one lesson is far to little. We have approximately 25 minutes in the class that’s considered a home room therefore the teacher’s are  to do attendance. For instance you come 5 minutes late to the class now you have twenty minute to sit down turn on your computer and log on to study island. Not to mention The internet of the school is extremely dilatory in other words SLOW. You have 25 minutes to do a lesson that you’re prone to know when we as a school haven’t been in school for 2 years. To cut it short, students grades have dropped and have done poorly and haven’t exactly excelled in school. Let’s not forget that  the school is put to just monitor that we are doing the work not actually teach us the curriculum that is gone over in study island. So we are to just self teach ourselves something and be logged on and to work at home, the morning announcements as well. Most importantly, it’s on our grade book so I would assume it will be in our report card which would technically bring down our grade point average. Some of us which can’t afford and want to get accepted to a great university/ college. For those who desire perfect 4.00’s or for those have Dual enrollment and have off the chart GPA’s and have other stuff to worry about, I would assume of course. There is a physical teacher in the class but not TEACHING US and showing us how to solve equations. Let’s be honest practice makes perfect obviously, but how exactly are we to get at least 80% when we only have 25minutes to do 10 question for reading and also mathematics that has different parts . Also have a certain amount of minutes by the end of the week. Basically it is now not only study hall but another homework assignment to worry about so now instead of 8 classes we now have 9 classes to worry about because it is now a graduation requirement.
