We, the undersigned parents of a Massillon School District Student, request that the mandate to wear masks be removed. This makes mask wearing optional for each individual. We believe that this is a decision best made by parents and not a school board on whether a child wears a mask. The mask mandate does not allow for any medical, religious, or disabilities of the individual. Giving parents and staff the option to wear a mask will reduce the spread of Covid as well as allow the exemptions listed above.
