When you listen to music by your favorite artist you probably not thinking about how much money they make on this song or if they own the song. But the truth is that most mainstream musicians do not own their songs and make the smallest about for royalties on songs they make. The contracts they sign are basically death sentences for their business career. The current laws of copyright makes applications like Spotify and Apple Music. These applications make it easier for people to hear music but not for the artist to make money and keep afloat. So thats why im asking you to please sign this petition to help make this a new law about the bad contracts that are given.
