Reinstate its funding agreement with the Towns of Concord and Carlisle
In November 2011, the citizens of the Towns of Concord and Carlisle, Massachusetts, voted in extremely well attended town meetings to support with overwhelming majorities the Concord Carlisle High School Building Committee’s plan for a new regional high school. These votes were the culmination of multiyear-long efforts to bring together the ideas of all stakeholders, and to put forth the design of a facility that meets state requirements for an NEASC accredited high school, while also being cost effective, energy efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. We want the Massachusetts School Building Authority ("MSBA") to know that we, the undersigned, have not wavered in our support for, or commitment to, this project and the CCHS Building Committee’s ability to execute on our collective vision with integrity, on budget, and on schedule. We hereby respectfully request that the MSBA reinstate its funding agreement with the Towns of Concord and Carlisle and urge the CCHS Building Committee and the Concord Carlisle Regional School Committee to proceed with the building project without delay, and with the site, scope, budget and schedule intact.
