Joshua Brown started this petition to Massachusetts Governor Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and

From what I was told this bus company was founded in 2016 and out of business in 2017, MAX (for Massachusetts Area Express) operated a daily bus between Boston's South Station Bus Terminal and Brattleboro VT, stopping at Worcester, Framingham, Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner, Athol, Orange, Erving, Greenfield and Bernardston MA. Let's also not forget that Max bus also serviced Northampton, Amherst, and Pelham.

The line required public subsidy, and was unable to acquire it.

Max bus was known as the Route 2 corridor that follows the railroad tracks from Fitchburg when it first launched in 2016.

Now most places in Massachusetts and across the nation have reopen, local businesses are still struggling to recover from the COVID-19 lockdown and more intercity transportation in the Pioneer Valley like Max bus can help benefit the economy.

I've ridden Max bus a lot on the weekends from Northampton to Fitchburg and Worcester to catch the MBTA Commuter rail to North or South Stations. The commuter rail from Fitchburg ends at North Station and the commuter rail from Worcester ends at South Station.

If you really want this bus company to return. Please sign this petition and share it with others.
