One of Marymount's kindest teachers, Stephen Spilsted needed to wait for the new Novavax vaccine to come back to school. After waiting months for the vaccine to be approved, he was terminated from the job. An already retired teacher is having to take his place for the year and Spilsted was left jobless.

He is an amazing teacher and all his students loved him. He was one of the only teachers at Marymount that made you happy to go to class. He was always there to encourage and support his students.

He deserves better!

Overall, the decision to terminate Spilsted is unjust. Stephen Spilsted deserves his job back. Mrs Blackbur deserves to retire. And the students of Marymount college deserve to have such a great person as a teacher. Let's bring Spilly back!
