Save Bristol Balloon Fiesta

Bristol City Council will start charging the organisers to use Ashton Court for the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.

However, in an exclusive interview with the Bristol Post in July, fiesta founder, Don Cameron, said the event operates on a “knife edge” and there was “no way” it could make a financial contribution to the council.

He added: “Bristol has to decide if it wants to have a fiesta and it would be a great shame if we had to move.”

The fiesta has been around for 40 years it would be a shame to lose it now.

We need as many people to sign this as possible to try and get Marvin Rees to change their decision and attempt to save one of Bristol greatest events.
