As a Smash Ultimate player who has recently wished to expand into more traditional fighting games, I, and many others, feel that the Marvel VS Capcom franchise deserves better after the... experience... that was MvC Infinite. And I could not possibly think of a better way to start than by Bringing Marvel VS Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 to the Nintendo Switch.

While it is unfortunately no longer included in the lineup, EVO's announcement that 2 would be included for 2020 brought joy to many across social media, proving that interest for the series never died along with it; fans are more enthusiastic about the games than ever. And some Switch ports of the series classics would even further prove to every party involved in creating it that the franchise very much does deserve a second chance.
