Sign language classes at UMB
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
Umass Boston just recently got rid of their American Sign Language classes and they need to be brought back. These classes are especially important for students majoring in Early Childhood Education and Care in Inclusive Settings, as they could some day be working with children that are hard of hearing or non verbal. Working in inclusive settings with children of all abilities means teachers need to know different forms of communication, which includes sign language. ASL is very important and should be available to students at Umass Boston again.
