The voice of the student body throughout the years at schools within the TCDSB has never been enough to create change. Marshall Mcluhan's graduating class of 2021 wants to be acknowledged for their accomplishments throughout the last 4 years.  The provincial government has allowed the resumption of in-person graduation ceremonies because they acknowledge an event like this should be celebrated. It is time the school does as well. This petition reflects the desire and support coming from not just the students, but the friends and families of Marshall McLuhan's graduating class to have an in-person ceremony. It is the desire of a community to celebrate how far we have come to educate and raise the students. It is our parents, uncles and aunts, neighbours and friends, that sign this petition to see the graduating students get the ceremony the provincial government has granted them and deemed they deserve.
