Mars claims to be committed to helping create a safe, healthy, and sustainable world for its partners and the communities in which it operates. The company maintains it cares deeply about the welfare of animals in its supply chain. Nevertheless, Mars continues to sell products containing cage eggs.
 
Hens deserve kindness, compassion and the freedom to live a life worth living. Sadly, these gentle birds are being exploited around the world, forced to live in crowded wire cages for the entirety of their lives. Intensive cage farming conditions prevent hens from being able to carry out their most basic behaviours, they cannot move around freely, stretch their wings, bask in the sun or breath fresh air.
