Sweet Victory by David Eisley as heard on Spongebob's "Band Geeks"

On the day of the 2019 Super Bowl event where The Patriots faced off against The Rams. As all annual bowls, football fans worldwide rallied together for the performances, plugs and of course, the victor between two fan-beloved teams.

On the other hand, many fans join together to relish in the Halftime shows. Popular and arising artists are pulled upon the field for a show-stopping performance, and for all given reasons.
On 2/3/2019, the NFL and Nickelodeon Twitter accounts promoted a performance of Sweet Victory, achieved by Maroon 5 in honor and memory of Steven Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob who had tragically passed away merely a couple of months prior.

Roughly around 5:11 PM, the Halftime show had begun and fans rallied together for the performance by Maroon 5, and were distraught by the lies they were handed. Maroon 5 playing their hit song "Moves Like Jagger." While there was a very short animated sequence of Squidward and the gang anticipating the live show, things quickly began bolting downhill when the trumpets cued, and Sweet Victory lapped into bitter defeat when Travis Scott came to the stage to perform "Sicko Mode" his recent hit release.

Fans felt disgusted and betrayed by this show. An opportunity to honor Hillenburg and his impact on the world was foreshadowed by a cash-grab show sponsored by Pepsi. The 2019 Super Bowl being described as 'the worst Bowl in recent years' by not only fans tuning in for the show itself, but fans watching for the game itself as well. With enough word about the offense, we can get the show we were promised and feel fulfilled by the homage that Steven Hillenburg deserved in such an event.
