Eleanor Roberts started this petition to Marks & Spencer and

Children's clothing sizes are currently extremely restricted. Sizing is not inclusive for children who are bigger than average for their age.

Clothing for children bigger than the average 8 year old seems to be more suited to teenagers and young adults, with styles such as crop tops becoming the norm. This is particularly the case in girls clothing,  and completely unnecessary.

Young children who are taller/ bigger than average for their age should be able to wear clothes suitable for their age group. Often the teenage style clothing is too revealing for younger children and potentially would make them vulnerable to being exploited.

I would ask that all retailers of children's clothes consider producing younger style clothing in bigger sizes for taller children, and for those who don't want to grow up too quickly.
