Residents of Market Square,

As our community has grown and thrived, one issue has held us back. The HOA President. When the community was first founded, there were "happy hours", block parties, etc. But in the years past, residents who yearn for such comradery are shut down and fined for attempting to host or distribute information about events. 

Children have been harassed and yelled at as signs are now posted in his cul-de-sac warning that no bicycles, scooters, or skating is permitted by his home. Residents are threatened with fines for weeds or un-leashed dogs from ambiguous "surveillance." Concerns are ignored as meetings and elections are kept quiet. Voices have been silenced on the Community Facebook page by deleting comments and removing members who ask questions. Privacy is violated as he digs through trash to find the address of residents and drag whatever he can to their yard if it is even placed out a few hours early. Our voices are not being heard.

We all want to see this community continue to prosper. We want to get together and live life and enjoy our neighborhood! Please consider signing this petition to call for a special meeting to vote for the removal of the man who acts as a de-facto sheriff and unchecked dictator. We need 20% of all residents to sign in order to make this happen, followed by 25% of all owners present at the meeting. It's time for a change, it's time for transparency, and time for the HOA Board to accurately reflect the diversity and family-friendly attitude of the residents of Market Square.
