Facebook should allow users to correctly set place of origin, i.e. Saigon

Thousands, perhaps millions, of Facebook users who were born in Saigon, Vietnam are being forced to set their place of origin as Ho Chi Minh City. This is both geographically and politically incorrect. We kindly request that Facebook enhance their interface such that users may properly set their true place of origin. This modification should be useful for any place in the world that has gone through a name change in its recent history.

Tôi sanh ra và lớn lên tại Sài Gòn nên rất muốn ghi nơi sanh của tôi trên Facebook là Sài Gòn, đơn giản vì tôi yêu Sài Gòn. Bạn nào không sanh ở Sài Gòn nhưng giúp tôi được việc này thì tôi cám ơn. Cho dù ta không thể đoan chắc Facebook sẽ làm theo lời yêu cầu, nhưng hãy xem đây như một cuộc trưng cầu dân ý mà mọi người đều có quyền plát biểu ý kiến.
