Those responsible for Chatfield need to explore more options. Moving the water level up 21 feet is not in the best interest of the park.

I enjoy Chatfield State Park, have grown up with it being present in it's current form. Why change it so that a non-guarantee of water can be kept. Learn how to use the water that we currently have. Re-purpose the water that falls from the skies and goes down the sidewalk into the drain.

this is wrong. stop all the development and leave the animals in peace so we can all enjoy them.

it's ludicrous they are going to destroy that space for really no legitimate reason. Not only that, but the animals need that space to survive and help the surrounding area.

We are destroying so much of this planet. There are sensible alternatives that will do less damage. PLEASE consider.

The flooding of Chatfield is unnecessary. The alternatives, e.g. Reuter-Hess Reservoir are viable. Flooding Chatfield will permanently eliminate vital recreational activities for over 1 million visitors each year. I strongly oppose it.

Because I have enjoyed biking and hiking around Chatfield for over 42 years, and know the value of this park and wildlife. I believe that we need to find and consider alternate plans for water usage & need to stand up to this destructive plan.

We need to protect our valuable natural plant and animal habitats. I believe this move will hurt many more people than it will ever help. This applies to the above stated logic as well as to the recreational users of Chatfield State Park.

Preservation of wildlife habitat and vegetation. Very short-sighted engineering plan.
