Today First Nation Culture is celebrated 1 week per year. Why do we accept this?

If you care about protecting the oldest living culture in the world, lets start by passing the traditional knowledge down to all children at school, from kindy to year 12.

Culture in our Schools is the key to protecting our Culture and empowering the Youth to understand Identity, Tradition & Customs, most importantly to protect and care for country.

Article 14 of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People states: Indigenous peoples have the right to establish and control their educational systems and institutions providing education in their own languages, in a manner appropriate to their cultural methods of teaching and learning.

First Nation Youth DO NOT have access to:

  • Learn Language
  • Practice Cultural customs
  • Learn Cultural Knowledge
  • Learn Cultural songs and ceremonies

We need the help of the Human Race to change the current school systems to include our Local First Nation Culture for all to learn from and to bring our community together. Let's support our Youth to be Strong and Proud

Culture is positive!
